EXPERIMENT is a new chapter in artist development at Sherman Theatre. This programme exists to offer resourced R&D time for thrilling new projects. EXPERIMENT is an R&D programme bespoke to your individual project: whether you need time in a room with other creatives, or by yourself, we want to hear from you!
We’re looking for projects that align with our producing programme. For example, do you have a new Studio piece that is a local story with global reach, or a fresh take on a timeless classic for the Main House? Please read on for more details about how our programming works so that you have all the information you need before you apply.
This project is open to Welsh and English language artists but you must be Welsh or Wales-based to apply. We are particularly excited to hear from artists of the Global Majority, Deaf or disabled artists and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. This is a paid opportunity.
