Experience a timeless Welsh story in a refreshingly original way

A recording studio in Cardiff.

Sound technicians are busy setting up equipment for a recording session. But as the performers take to their mics, something isn’t right… just what kind of story are they here to tell?

Dylan Thomas’ classic is reimagined for the fearless young voices of National Youth Theatre of Wales.

This new English and Welsh adaptation combines the lyrical world of Llareggub, with the contemporary Wales of today alive with music, microphones and loop pedals. It’s a production that showcases the passion and potential of a cast of seriously talented performers.
