April is always a particularly exciting time at Sherman Theatre. Once again, the Sherman will be taken over by youth theatre companies from across south Wales as we host the NT Connections Festival.
Theatre fans can feast on fresh new writing performed by bright young talent including a performance of The Periodicals by our very own Sherman Youth Theatre. The youth theatre companies themselves will have the opportunity to perform, learn new skills and make friends. Come down to the Sherman this spring and witness the future of theatre.

Set in a dystopian future, not too far from our own world, The Periodicals follows a group of young people living outside of society. Determined not to be sent back to school, the Periodicals form their own alternative community.
Exploring issues important to our young people today – from mental health and friendship to the importance of having their voices heard – The Periodicals is an eye-widening experience to the very end.
