Super-duper shoes don't make themselves you know!
Clara the shoemaker is hungry and cold. No one wants to buy her shoes.
Performances from 27 Dec
Having looked very carefully at the situation in light of the First Minister’s announcement, it is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to cancel all performances of The Elves and the Shoemaker / Y Coblynnod a’r Crydd from 27-31 December. We are sorry for the disappointment. We have contacted all ticketholders by email and will be in touch next week to issue refunds. Thank you for bearing with us and for your continued support.
Available on demand
The Elves and the Shoemaker is now available on demand. Watch online at any time until 31 Dec and bring the theatre to you this Christmas.
One morning to her surprise she finds someone has mysteriously made a pair of the snazziest footwear overnight. Shoes that will sell like hot cakes. Clara’s luck is about to change. Who does she need to thank for this wonderful turn of events?
Katherine Chandler’s The Elves and the Shoemaker is the perfect way to introduce little ones to the magic of theatre.
Creative fun!
Download a crafting activity which allows children to create their own Elves workshop!
Using everyday items found in the home, find your inner creative by making a shoemaker’s shop scene including a sparkly cone tree and making your very own personalised elf. Colour in some shoes and leave them for the naughty elf to report back to Santa.
Activity Pack
We have also created an activity pack to get young people engaging with even more of the production, its characters and themes.
