Tales & Tea – Bobby & Amy

Made at Sherman

Overview

19 May
10.30am - 1.00pm

Tales & Tea is our quarterly event for our older Sherman 5 members where you can enjoy a rehearsed play with scripts, followed by tea and cake, all for £4.

Our next play will be Bobby and Amy by Emily Jenkins on 19 May.

May’s Tales & Tea is part of Age Cymru’s Gwanwyn Festival of events which has the 2023 theme of Nature.

It follows two teenagers who, whilst facing the local bullies, find solace in their local countryside. But things only get worse when Foot and Mouth disease hits.

We will gather in the Sherman Theatre foyer at 10.30am before the performance starts and you’re free to sit wherever you like so can be socially distanced if you’d prefer.

Tea and cakes will be served in the foyer afterwards and the Café Bar will be open for those wishing to purchase lunch.

This is a Dementia Friendly performance.

Tickets are just £4 for Sherman 5 members. Contact the Box Office on 029 2064 6900 or email box.office@shermantheatre.co.uk to book tickets.
