Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch are well-known for producing plays for children, and this production of Sgleinio’r Lleuad is a brand new challenge.

Sgleinio’r Lleuad is a Welsh language production aimed at children aged 3-8, but it is also very suitable for new Welsh speakers of all ages.

Caryl Lewis originally comes from Dihewyd near Aberaeron. She graduated from Durham University before returning to Aberystwyth University to get a higher degree in writing. Iawn Boi? won the Tir na n-Og award in 2004 and her novel Martha Jac a Sianco was named Book of the Year 2005. Caryl is a prolific writer whose books have won multiple awards, including the Wales Book of the Year Award in 2023. Other recent children’s books include Seed, Mari a Mrs Cloch and The Magician’s Daughter.
