This is the true story (well, true-ish) of Huw – or Huw Fyw as everyone calls him, since the other Huw in the village died in the Second World War.
Huw doesn’t believe in fate. And he doesn’t believe in smiling either, or waste, or anything that requires him to get up from his armchair. But after a stroke of luck, Huw embarks on an adventure from his little village to central London; an adventure that will change the course of his life forever and help him learn to live for today, without forgetting the past.
Marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War, this new play from comedian Tudur Owen explores hope, laziness and how to make 4 cuppas from just one teabag! In his first ever stage play, Tudur will also star as Huw Fyw, directed by Steffan Donnelly. Further cast announcement to follow.
