‘CHOO CHOO!’ takes you on a journey into a mind that refuses to play nicely.

What if you hurt Duncan? What if you did? I bet you could. I bet you could do it. I bet you will.

This affecting performance is a silly and surreal insight into obsessive compulsive disorder, in equal measures very funny and profoundly moving. CHOO CHOO! is a show about a misunderstood condition, told by people who know a bit about it.

CHOO CHOO! is part of the Pleasance’s Edinburgh National Partnerships programme in collaboration with the Sherman.

StammerMouth
StammerMouth is a British award winning theatre company, created by Nye Russell-Thompson. His alias StammerMouth was born out of the necessity for people to understand how it feels to have a stammer, through self-aware deflective humour, stark minimalism, and audience participation (he likes to make you feel as uncomfortable as he did in his younger days). StammerMouth uses the Social Model of Disability to incorporate access as inherently creative tools, such as British Sign Language, Speech-to-Text and Audio Description. StammerMouth is at the forefront of contemporary theatre, creating work with freelance professionals to discuss what is difficult to talk about.
